This Cancellation and Refund Policy explains how to cancel services with HOU Digital Marketing, LLC (“HOU Digital Marketing,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) and when payments can be refunded. It is part of our Terms and Conditions.
This section covers SEO, Google Ads management, PPC management and digital marketing virtual assistant plans.
• All monthly plans are month to month. There is no long-term contract and no cancellation fee.
• You can cancel at any time by giving us 30 days written notice by email.
• Work and billing continue during the 30-day notice period, so your campaigns and SEO work are not cut off suddenly.
• If the notice period runs past the month you have already paid for, your final invoice covers only the remaining days of the notice period.
• If you would rather stop work right away, tell us in your notice. The 30-day notice period still applies to billing.
• Website projects require a 50% deposit before work starts. The remaining 50% is due before the website goes live.
• If you cancel before design work begins, we refund your deposit, less any payment processing fees.
• If you cancel after design work begins, the deposit is not refundable. It covers the work completed up to that point.
• If the website is complete and ready to launch when you cancel, the remaining 50% balance is still due.
• If you have paid in full, we hand over the website files, designs and content we created for you.
• Monthly fees are not refunded for any month in which work has started.
• One-time services, such as keyword research, content writing and audits, are not refundable once work has started.
• Website deposits are refundable only as described in Section 2.
• Because SEO and advertising results depend on search engines, ad platforms and your market, we do not offer refunds based on rankings, traffic, leads or sales.
Ad spend is paid by you directly to Google, Meta or other platforms from your own account. We never hold or receive your ad budget, so we cannot refund it. Any credit or refund of ad spend is handled by the ad platform under its own policies. We are happy to help you request one when a platform error applies.
If you are charged twice or charged an incorrect amount, contact us within 30 days of the charge. We will review it and refund any amount charged in error in full.
Please contact us before filing a dispute or chargeback with your bank. Most billing questions can be fixed within one business day.
If we decide to end services ourselves, other than for non-payment or a breach of our Terms, we will give you notice and refund any fees you have paid for work we have not yet started.
• Your Google Ads, Analytics, Search Console, Business Profile, Meta, domain, hosting and website accounts stay yours.
• We remove our access on request and help transfer anything you need, such as reports and campaign settings.
• Campaigns we manage are paused or handed to you at the end of the notice period, based on your instructions.

We will confirm your cancellation and your final billing date within one business day.
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a new Effective Date. The policy in effect when you give notice applies to your cancellation.
